European Banking Federation
(EBF)
An association representing the European banking sector. It represents the interests of over 4,500 European banks, large and small, from 27 national banking associations, with assets of more than EUR 20,000 billion and over 2.3 million employees. FBE acts as a forum where members' initiatives are proposed and debated and as well as a dialogue partner for the European institutions in laying out the relevant legislation in the banking sphere.
